“You don't necessarily have to write to be a poet. Some people work in gas stations and they're poets. I don't call myself a poet because I don't like the word. I'm a trapeze artist.”
-Bob Dylan

CAN YOU FEEL THE RACIAL TENSION?

I
CAN FEEL
THE TENSION

But really,
Where has all
the diversity gone?

White
is a boring colour
indeed.

I've decided that some days I will post a little blog after the poem. Because I feel like adding a little something, kay? Can you handle that? Good.
I also decided to add a quote to each entry. I know what you're saying; "I don't know if I can handle all the change you're introducing to me..." Well, I decided to do it all at once quick, like a band aide, instead of a slow needle. Yadiddymean? The quote, like the picture, usually has absolutely nothing to do with the poem.
I chose this quote because I liked the message. I have a love/hate relationship with Bob Dylan; the man was a genius, and a total ass at the same time. I know. I saw the documentary where he was played by a black boy and a woman.
His child character was so funny and sweet and he grew up and I didn't like him as much. But I appreciate his music so I guess that makes up for it.
